TP-Link Archer AX21 Wi-Fi 6 Router Falls to $60 in Amazon Early Prime Day Deal
Amazon has cut the TP-Link Archer AX21 Wi-Fi 6 router to $59.98 during early Prime Day deals, down from $89.99. The budget dual-band router offers four Gigabit ports, OneMesh support and WPA3 security.
The Archer AX21 has been a popular budget home networking upgrade for several years, and TechRadar describes it as a good entry point into Wi-Fi 6 for remote workers and families replacing an aging router without paying premium-router prices. The router offers combined speeds of up to 1.8Gbps, four high-gain antennas and beamforming for stronger coverage, along with four Gigabit LAN ports for wired devices. It also supports OneMesh, allowing users to add a range extender later, and includes OFDMA and MU-MIMO for handling multiple devices, plus WPA3 security.
TechRadar says the appeal of the Archer AX21 has not changed: it brings Wi-Fi 6 efficiency gains, which can improve performance in homes with many connected devices rather than simply raising top-line speeds, at a price that undercuts most other AX1800-class routers. For this price tier, four Gigabit Ethernet ports are generous, especially for users with wired devices such as a games console or a NAS.
According to TechRadar, buyers should consider the Archer AX21 if they have several devices competing for bandwidth at once, or if they want wired Gigabit ports alongside decent wireless coverage.
