Traitors Telugu Premieres as Celebrity Traitors Airs Episode 5

The Traitors Telugu is hosted by Teja Sajja with 20 celebrity participants. TechRadar reports the cast includes singer and voice-over artist Chinmayi Sripaada, actors Harsha Vardhan and Pragathi Mahavadi, digital content creator Nikhil Vijayendra Simha, celebrity stylist Shravya Varma, and consultant anaesthesiologist Dr Meghanath Reddy. The contestants compete in games over a three-week period, combining the show's deception format with the Telugu-language production. New episodes will be released every Thursday through the finale on Nov. 5.

Prime Video carries The Traitors Telugu in India, the U.K., and the U.S., TechRadar reports. In the U.K. and U.S., the first three episodes are available at launch, followed by weekly installments on Thursdays. A Prime Video subscription includes a 30-day free trial for new users and then costs $14.99 in the U.S. or £8.99 in the U.K. per month. Viewers aged 18 to 24 can get a six-month free trial. TechRadar says there is no Canadian or Australian release date for The Traitors Telugu at this time.

On The Celebrity Traitors, episode 5 followed a cliffhanger in which Rob, Romesh, Ross, and Leigh-Anne ran to the crypts for a deadly game of hide and seek. The three men agreed to give Leigh-Anne a key that guaranteed her safety, a decision Romesh disagreed with but accepted, according to the TechRadar recap. The season's original Traitors were Richard E. Grant and Maya Jama. Richard E. Grant immediately told everyone he was a traitor and was voted out at the first Round Table, while Maya Jama played the game as intended, TechRadar reports. The Traitors later recruited James Acaster and Prof. Hannah Fry. The dead include Bella Ramsey and Amol Rajan, and after voting out a traitor in the first round table, the faithfuls banished two of their own, Julie Hesmondhalgh and Myha'la.

The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the U.K. free of charge to viewers with a TV licence; iPlayer does not require a separate account or subscription. The series runs two nights a week, on Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m., with the spinoff Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked also available. In the U.S., the show is due on Peacock in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a release date still to be announced. Canada's Crave is streaming all four episodes of season 2, with plans starting at CA$11.99 a month. In Australia, the season is available free on 10, where viewers need an account to catch up on the first four episodes and watch new episodes at the same time as in the U.K.

TechRadar's guides note that viewers outside a show's home market may encounter geo-blocking.
