UFC 332: Silva vs. Wang Title Fight Headlines Salt Lake City Card With CBS, Paramount+ Coverage
Natalia Silva faces Wang Cong for the vacant UFC women's flyweight title at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City on Oct. 3, with the main card on CBS and Paramount+ in the US.
Silva, 29, enters as the No. 1 contender. The Brazilian has beaten former champions Jessica Andrade, Alexa Grasso and Rose Namajunas in her past three bouts, and her speed around the Octagon and kicking ability make her a difficult matchup. Wang, known as the Joker, has won four consecutive fights, including a victory over Tracy Cortez in July. TechRadar reports that Wang is known for accurate striking and is expected to try to get inside and grapple to take away one of Silva's key attributes.
The card also features fast-rising star Payton Talbott against Deiveson Figueiredo. The main card is listed for 9 p.m. ET, with the Silva-Wang main event expected to begin around 11 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. PT. International start times listed by TechRadar are 2 a.m. BST on Sunday and 11 a.m. AEST on Sunday.
In the US, the full UFC 332 event is available on CBS and Paramount Plus. No pay-per-view purchase is required for the US broadcast. TechRadar says the main card will be shown in its entirety on CBS for the first time, meaning viewers can watch for free with a TV antenna or cable package. CBS is also available through streaming packages such as Fubo, YouTube TV and DirecTV, all of which offer free trial options before paid subscriptions begin. Paramount Plus plans start at $8.99 per month for the Essential Plan, or $13.99 per month for Premium; an annual Premium plan is $140. A 30-day Walmart+ trial for $1 includes Paramount Plus access, according to TechRadar. Early prelims can be watched on UFC Fight Pass.
In the UK, the main card will be shown on TNT Sports 1 and is set to begin at 2 a.m. BST on Sunday. Viewers can add TNT Sports to Sky, Virgin Media or EE TV packages, or pay from £25.99 per month for an HBO Max plan that includes TNT Sports. UFC Fight Pass subscribers can also watch the prelims and early prelims, TechRadar says.
For viewers outside the US who want to access the Paramount+ stream, TechRadar recommends using a VPN such as NordVPN, which it says is up to 75% off and comes with three extra months free. The outlet's instructions are to install the VPN, choose the United States as the location in the app, then open Paramount+ to tune into UFC 332.
