UGreen, Belkin and ESR showcase next-generation charging tech at IFA 2026
UGreen, Belkin and ESR showcased liquid-cooled, semi-solid-state and retractable-cable chargers at IFA 2026.
TechRadar highlighted UGreen's new MagFlow lineup, which consists of a magnetic power bank, a 3-in-1 wireless charging stand and a 2-in-1 foldable model. The Qi2 25W devices combine active cooling and passive heat dissipation to reduce throttling caused by heat build-up during high-speed wireless charging. UGreen claimed that its MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank is the first power bank with micro-pump liquid cooling, and the device includes a transparent window for viewing coolant circulation. The company said its peak temperature during testing was 18°F (10°C) below the 118°F (48°C) industry reference.
The report also highlighted Belkin's new semi-solid-state power banks, which use batteries that are denser than conventional lithium-ion cells, enabling slimmer designs and slower degradation. The Belkin UltraCharge Pro Slim Magnetic Power Bank offers 15W wireless charging and 5,000mAh capacity in an 8.8mm-thick body roughly the size of a credit card. The larger Belkin 10,000mAh UltraCharge Pro provides up to 60W output, has dual USB-C ports and a display for viewing charging and temperature information.
ESR's Xtend chargers also drew TechRadar's attention. The 100W wall charger has two fully retractable built-in cables, allowing it to charge two devices at once, and the cables can extend up to 95cm (3.1ft). A more portable 45W version has one built-in cable plus an extra USB-C port.
UGreen also displayed novelty cat chargers that look like cats wearing hoodies and include detachable feet. The compact chargers have a rubbery finish and provide up to 45W from a USB-C port.
