Ugreen DXP2800 and DXP4800 Plus NAS drives discounted for Prime Day
Ugreen's DXP2800 and DXP4800 Plus NAS drives are discounted for Amazon Prime Day, with U.S. and U.K. pricing and buying advice.
The DXP2800 is the cheaper two-bay option. It has an Intel N100 quad-core processor, 8GB of DDR5 RAM that can be expanded to 16GB, two SATA bays, two M.2 NVMe slots, a single 2.5GbE port, 4K HDMI output and 32GB of built-in storage for the operating system. The DXP4800 Plus costs $237 more in the U.S. before any drive purchases and adds two more bays, a faster processor and a 10GbE port.
The DXP4800 Plus is equipped with an Intel Pentium Gold 8505 processor, 8GB of DDR5 RAM expandable to 64GB, four SATA bays, two M.2 NVMe slots, 10GbE and 2.5GbE ports, a built-in 128GB SSD for the operating system and 4K HDMI output. TechRadar's hands-on review found the hardware to be exceptionally well-considered and powerful. TechRadar has not tested the DXP2800, but its sister site Android Central called it "one of the best 2-bay NAS servers you can buy today."
Amazon buyers rate both devices highly, according to TechRadar. The DXP2800 has 4.6 out of 5 from 929 ratings, while the DXP4800 Plus has 4.5 out of 5 from 625 ratings. The DXP2800 is $93 off its list price but is not at its lowest recorded price; Slickdeals data cited by TechRadar shows it reached $296.99 in September 2025. The DXP4800 Plus is $146 off list and $73 below the $656.99 Amazon price TechRadar reported during a summer Prime deal in July, matching Ugreen's official store promotional price from this summer's sales.
TechRadar concluded that the DXP4800 Plus is the stronger deal, while the DXP2800 is a fair price rather than an exceptional one. For buyers new to NAS storage who want a simple two-bay device for photo backups and media streaming and want to spend less, TechRadar recommends the DXP2800. For buyers with a larger library who want four bays with room to grow, or who have 10GbE gear to use the faster port, it recommends the DXP4800 Plus.
TechRadar advised skipping both if buyers want drives included, since both are diskless, or if they would rather buy a model that has been fully reviewed. TechRadar said it has not reviewed either drive in full.
Editor's Summary Ugreen's DXP2800 and DXP4800 Plus NAS drives are on sale for Amazon Prime Day in the U.S. and U.K., with the four-bay DXP4800 Plus offering more bays, a faster processor and 10GbE in addition to a larger discount. TechRadar judged the DXP4800 Plus the stronger deal and the DXP2800 a fair option for simpler, lower-cost home storage. Both are diskless, so buyers need to factor in the cost of drives.
