Ukraine Strikes Third Yandex Data Hub, Disrupting Services
Ukraine struck a third Yandex data hub, halting a facility in Russia's Vladimir region and disrupting services, Bloomberg reported, as attacks on data centers escalate.
The center, located in the Vladimir region about 180 kilometers (112 miles) northeast of Moscow, ceased operations after the strike and disrupted various services, Yandex said in a statement on Telegram.
Yandex is Russia's largest technology company, offering a search engine, ride hailing, e-commerce, cloud computing and artificial intelligence services.
According to Bloomberg, the Ukrainian campaign against data centers mirrors recent strikes by Moscow on similar facilities in Kyiv and elsewhere.
The company's Telegram statement did not give further detail on the extent of the damage or on which services were affected. Bloomberg reported the strike as the third against a Yandex hub.
