Unily Launches Content Studio, an AI Tool for Employee Communications
Unily has launched Content Studio, an AI-powered product that turns company knowledge into podcasts, videos and infographics in minutes, with early customers reporting steep time savings.
The company said the tool addresses a persistent bottleneck in internal communications. Distributing information meaningfully requires experts who hold the knowledge plus a team to convert it into a format the audience best understands, while employees want to receive communications in the media they prefer. Producing the same instructions across text, audio, video, slides and multimedia is impractical for most enterprises, so departments must decide what to condense into which formats and how to distribute it, risking that some information is missed.
"In today's workplace, competitive advantage belongs to organizations that can turn trusted information into action faster than everyone else," Chief Executive Lokdeep Singh said. He said Content Studio takes what a company already holds within its tribal knowledge and helps employees transform it into engaging formats, maintaining accuracy and consistency under human oversight.
Users keep direct control of the output, the company said, by selecting which resources adjust results, specifying what to emphasize or exclude, and applying brand, tone and editorial standards.
General-purpose AI tools can take a team part of the way, according to Unily, but its platform is built to deepen employee knowledge and keep it current. Products for AI-generated infographics, podcasts and video slides already exist, including Google LLC's Gemini Notebook, though Unily says that tool is not built specifically for governed internal communications. Enterprise competitors cited for Content Studio include Haiilo's internal communications platform, Staffbase SE and Firstup Inc.
Chief Technology Officer Sam Hassani said current AI-driven products ask users to trust their outputs, whereas Content Studio is designed to work with trusted knowledge rather than replace employee attention. "By combining source-grounded AI with enterprise governance, organizations can move faster in content creation for their internal teams without diminishing accuracy, transparency or control," he said.
Unily said early customer previews showed strong results. Velcro Companies, the original manufacturer of hook-and-loop fasteners, reduced infographic creation from about 60 minutes to three minutes. Amer Sports Canada Inc.'s outdoor apparel and equipment subsidiary Arc'teryx turned a calendar's worth of internal communications into one podcast, saving 84 minutes per employee per month.
Content Studio is a standalone product that works without the Unily experience platform. When connected to the full platform, organizations can extend into governed knowledge sourcing through content creation, targeted delivery and impact measurement.
Editor's Summary
Unily has released Content Studio, an AI product that converts internal company knowledge into podcasts, videos and infographics while leaving brand, tone and editorial choices under human control. The launch targets a crowded enterprise communications market that includes Google's Gemini Notebook, Haiilo, Staffbase and Firstup, and Unily cites early previews in which Velcro cut infographic production from about an hour to three minutes and Arc'teryx saved 84 minutes per employee per month. Content Studio can be used on its own or joined to the full Unily platform for knowledge sourcing, delivery and impact measurement.
