TechRadar's review praised the ComfortEdge for its ergonomics, particularly the tapered front edge, which the publication said eases forearm pressure. The desk has a height range of 25 to 50.5 inches, four programmable height presets, a drop-stop sensor, and a lifetime warranty. Testers also noted smooth, quiet height changes and quick assembly because the desktop and frame arrive pre-assembled; only the legs need to be attached.

At $674.25, the desk is $224.75, or 25%, below its $899 list price. TechRadar said the smaller 48x30 ComfortEdge desk it initially reviewed cost $799 at Vari in 2024, meaning the larger 60x30 desk now costs less than the smaller model did then. TechRadar said it could not find a reliable price history for the 60x30 size. The promotion ends October 12.

TechRadar's buying advice says the desk is a fit for shoppers who want a spacious model with a comfortable front edge and height presets, or who have been waiting for a sale on a premium standing desk. It advises skipping the desk for shoppers who need to support more than 200 pounds of equipment, who want the exact 48x30 size the publication tested, or who do not want to commit before the sale ends on October 12.

The smaller ComfortEdge model also has a 25% discount at Amazon, according to TechRadar, and the publication called it a good pick for compact workspaces.
