Vivo Launches Buds Clip Ear-Clip Earbuds and WATCH 6 Light-Outdoor Smartwatch

The Buds Clip is already on sale. During the first-sale period from Sept. 21 to Oct. 31, buyers receive a 100 yuan discount, and Vivo and iQOO phone users can receive an additional 50 yuan discount. It comes in Moonlight White, Floating Light Purple, and Starry Night Black. Leiphone said the product is designed for all-day wear, with a natural micro-light aesthetic and a lightweight ear-clip design that Vivo describes as a 'Micro-Light Small C Ring.'

Each Buds Clip earbud weighs about 5.2 grams. Vivo optimized the curve, insertion angle, and clamping points based on more than 2,000 real ear models collected with universities, distributing pressure more evenly across the auricle. The flexible titanium wire bridge uses a high-performance nickel-titanium memory alloy to maintain a secure clamp while reducing long-wear pressure. The earbuds do not distinguish left and right, and they carry IP55 dust and water resistance for light rain, sweat, and light exercise.

For audio, the Buds Clip uses a 4L dual parallel voice coil, which Leiphone said is an industry first, along with a 12mm high-performance driver, dual-magnet design, and new PU material. It has Hi-Res Wireless Gold certification and vivo Golden Ear Acoustic Laboratory certification, supports 10-band custom EQ and vivo spatial audio with theater, concert hall, recording studio, and live concert modes. It offers balanced, vocal enhancement, and leak-reduction listening modes, plus adaptive volume. For calls, dual microphones with AI noise reduction and a VPU bone-conduction microphone work together to pick up voice and suppress ambient noise.

The Buds Clip supports seamless triple connection across phone, tablet, and computer, and is compatible with Android and iOS. Gestures such as double tap, triple tap, long press, and swipe control playback, track switching, listening modes, and volume. It pauses audio when removed and resumes when worn again. It supports real-time smart translation and AI smart broadcasts for information such as package delivery, flight, and train updates. It also connects with vivo watches, offers drop reminders, and custom theme pop-ups. Battery life is up to 10 hours of music on a single charge, up to 42 hours with the charging case, and 10 minutes of charging provides up to 3 hours of listening; the wireless charging version supports Qi wireless charging.

The WATCH 6 is positioned as a light-outdoor smartwatch. It uses sapphire glass across the lineup, aerospace-grade titanium alloy, and a body thickness of 9.5mm; the titanium version weighs about 37 grams and the stainless steel version about 44 grams. The titanium version uses a TC4 aerospace titanium alloy middle frame, while the stainless steel version uses an integrated 316L stainless steel middle frame. The display has a local peak brightness of 3,500 nits.

For sports, the WATCH 6 has five-star dual-frequency GNSS positioning, offline maps, trajectory navigation, and track-back return. It provides full-link advanced running and cycling guidance that presents nearly 20 data points, including fitness, motion, and gait data, from warm-up through post-run review. It includes more than 100 sport modes. In cycling, new phone-watch dual-device linkage sends real-time data to a phone screen as a replacement for a traditional cycling computer, and a workout summary video can be generated for sharing.

For health, the WATCH 6 supports a 60-second one-touch health check that measures and displays 14 indicators including heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, and sleep. It adds pulse wave arrhythmia analysis and sleep vital signs monitoring. A health fat-loss assistant uses food photo recognition, exercise consumption points, and fat-burning effect evaluation to show daily calorie balance.

The WATCH 6 runs BlueOS 4.0. Its upgraded Smart Little V suggestions support flight and train reminders and add concert start, nearby package pickup, and taxi reminders. Blue Heart Little V is integrated with DeepSeek for knowledge Q&A and continuous voice interaction. Battery life is up to 21 days in light use and 10 days in typical use, with magnetic charging that takes about 2 hours to full. It is priced from 999 yuan, opened pre-sale on Sept. 21, and will go on official sale on Sept. 28, 2026, through vivo's official mall, e-commerce flagship stores, and offline stores.
