Volcano Engine starts Seedance 2.5 4K enterprise trials with 20 global studios and directors for high-end film and TV.

The 4K model is positioned as the most powerful version in the Seedance 2.5 generation. According to Leiphone, it offers clearer image details, more delicate and natural character performance and finer consistency in reference generation and editing.

A film studio that has tried the model told Leiphone that the price setting was not as high as expected. The model allows users to generate sample footage at 480P first and then regenerate satisfactory shots in 4K.

The 4K version places more emphasis on exploring high-end film and television demand. Among the 20 works currently using the model, the earliest is expected to be broadcast next month as an S-level IP on satellite TV, and the group also includes a global big-IP film, according to Leiphone.

Seedance series models have already unlocked industrialized production of creative content in film, television and advertising, and they are also serving physical industries including embodied intelligence and manufacturing simulation, the report said.
