Vonder Unveils Privacy-Focused Smart Glasses Without Camera or Display
Vonder announced smart glasses with no camera or display, starting at $299, pre-orders September 28, 2026, shipping in November.
According to the company, the smart glasses were designed first and foremost to be everyday glasses. They weigh under 30 grams and can be made to the wearer’s prescription. Lens options include single vision and progressive lenses, along with Transitions and gradient tint lenses.
The debut collection offers six frame shapes and three color options. Android Authority reported that the product is Vonder’s first collection of intelligent eyewear and that it was created by the team behind Viture.
The launch comes as Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses have found commercial success, but privacy questions have remained a common theme in the category, Android Authority reported. Those questions concern both people around the user and the user, according to the report. Vonder’s glasses do not include a camera or display.
Vonder says the eyewear is meant to be worn as regular glasses. The company is offering prescription-compatible lenses from single vision and progressive to Transitions and gradient tint.
