Woman Describes Crossbody Phone Strap as Fun, Convenient and a Bit Embarrassing

The woman, writing in first person, says she does not feel self-conscious using the strap and that it looks cool with an oversized jacket, even though it bunches the fabric around her armpit. She describes her usual outfit as Tevas and athleisure leggings from Target, and notes her Target Circle membership as evidence that she is plugged in to the latest fashion trends.
Her main case for the product is convenience. She can grab the phone, turn it so the screen faces her and send a text without missing a beat, she writes. Having the phone on the strap also makes tap-to-pay easier, although reaching a payment terminal sometimes requires a "mini squat" that she calls a "little bonus workout."
In dark bars and restaurants, the strap keeps the phone available as a reading light. She writes: "Just hit that flashlight toggle (on purpose, for a change) and you've got a handy reading light at your side." She adds that nothing complements the ambiance of a moody cocktail lounge like 50 lumens of bright white LEDs pointed at a receipt while she checks whether a service charge was included.
The writer says the accessory would be more useful if it could also hold keys, tissues, a notebook, loose change, Carmex and other small items, and if she could remove the phone at home and hang the strap on a coat rack, ready for her next outing. "I bet you they sell one at Target," she adds.
