Worx Landroid Vision Cloud WR306E Review Praises Precision Mowing at £899

TechRadar's review says the Worx Landroid Vision Cloud WR306E delivers precise, consistent edge-to-edge mowing using camera and cloud RTK navigation, but setup is involved and the app takes time to master. It sells for £899 in the UK.

The WR306E is a UK- and Euro-spec model with a maximum lawn size of 600m². It uses V-SLAM stereo vision AI and cloud-based RTK for navigation, supports automatic mapping and multizone management, and relies on vision and AI for obstacle avoidance rather than a traditional boundary wire. The review says the mower can recognize the shape of a lawn and maintain its bearings without additional RTK aerials.

The reviewed model includes Worx's Cut-to-Zero side module for edge cutting. According to the review, this tackles one of the biggest annoyances with robot mowers: the uncut strip of grass they usually leave around the edges. The mower has an 18cm cutting width and manual cutting height adjustment from 30mm to 60mm. It uses two-wheel drive, charges in 80 minutes, handles slopes up to 30 percent, or 16.7 degrees, and has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi and GPS tracking, a rain sensor, IPX6 waterproofing, 58dB noise output, and a weight of 11.4kg. Its dimensions are 57.6 by 28.3 by 45.7cm.

In the UK, the WR306E sells for £899, a mid-priced position that puts it against alternatives including the TerraMow V600 and Segway Navimow i108E, which the review says are currently selling for roughly the same price. A cheaper stablemate, the WR305E, covers 500m² and sells for £699 in the UK and €594 in some parts of Europe. The WR305E does not ship with the Cut-to-Zero edge-cutting module, but it accepts the module if bought separately for around £100 from Worx UK. In the US, the closest alternative is the 1/4 Acre model, which retails at Amazon for $984.48.

The review describes the initial setup as clunky, with various stages of connecting and configuring that required a lot of patience before everything worked as expected. The reviewer says it was not the effortless drop-and-mow experience of the TerraMow V1000 reviewed earlier in the year. Once configured, however, the WR306E proved reliable. The reviewer was impressed by its navigation and ability to stay on the lawn without veering into borders, as well as by its accurate obstacle avoidance and generally excellent cut quality. The review also notes that it cuts grass in parallel stripes and that the reviewer missed a remote motorized cutting height function.

TechRadar gives the WR306E a value score of 4 out of 5. Its listed reasons to buy are great cutting performance, precise navigation, reliable lawn coverage, and parallel mowing that delivers consistent results. Its reasons to avoid are an initial setup that requires a lot of patience, no motorized cutting deck adjustment through the app, and an app layout that takes time to master.

Editor's Summary The Worx Landroid Vision Cloud WR306E is a £899 robotic mower that TechRadar rates highly for vision-and-RTK navigation, edge cutting and obstacle avoidance. Its main drawbacks are a demanding setup and an app that takes time to learn, but the review says it delivers precise, consistent lawn coverage for the price. The model is available in the UK and Europe, with a cheaper WR305E variant and a US alternative.
