Xgimi Launches Horizon 30 4K 120Hz Projector Series in Three Models

The projectors are 4K 120Hz Google TV models with variable refresh rate, including AMD FreeSync, and auto low latency mode. Xgimi says the series delivers up to seven times the native contrast and twice the refresh rate of its predecessors. TechRadar reported that all three have a game mode with promised latency of 1ms at 1080p 240Hz and 3ms at 4K 60Hz.

Shared features include dual 12W Harman Kardon stereo speakers with DTS Virtual:X, an RGB triple laser light source and a dual intelligent iris system that automatically optimizes light for each scene. The projectors support Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Each model has an integrated stand that tilts and rotates, optical zoom, lens shift and Lens Memory, which can save details for up to five setups and switch between settings for TV shows, ultra-wide gaming or movies.

The models differ in brightness and native contrast. The Horizon 30 Pro is listed at up to 4,800 ISO lumens with native contrast of 8,000:1. The Horizon 30 Max is listed at 5,300 ISO lumens with native contrast of 9,000:1. The Horizon 30 Ultra Max is listed at 10,000 ISO lumens with native contrast of 10,000:1. TechRadar's article contained an inconsistency: a summary bullet said the series had up to 6,000 ISO lumens, while the detailed model specifications later in the same article said the Ultra Max reaches 10,000 ISO lumens.
