The Xiaomi 18 Fold is confirmed to feature a 5.38-inch external display, a 7.58-inch internal display, a triple rear camera system, and Xiaomi's new XRing O3 system-on-chip. Leaks cited by Android Authority suggest the camera setup includes a 3.5x optical-zoom telephoto lens, a capability that key rivals lack.

The company's announcement follows growing momentum for wide-screen foldables, driven by Apple's rumored iPhone Ultra and Samsung's early sales success with the Galaxy Z Fold 8. Huawei has also been active in the wide-format foldable category, and Xiaomi will enter the race when the 18 Fold launches next week.
