Xreal Releases One Pro+ AR Glasses With Brighter Display, New Nose Pad

Xreal has released the One Pro+ AR glasses, a $600 update to its One Pro model that adds 1,200 nits of peak brightness, AI HDR upscaling, 60Hz 2D-to-3D conversion and a redesigned nose pad. It keeps the X1 chip, 57-degree field of view and no camera.

The One Pro+ reaches 1,200 nits of peak brightness, up from 700 nits on the standard One Pro, Engadget reported. It also includes AI HDR upscaling technology to improve visuals. Xreal upgraded its 2D-to-3D conversion algorithm from 30Hz to 60Hz, a feature that adds depth to 2D content and is similar to the spatial imaging system available on Apple Vision Pro.

The new model includes a newly designed nose pad intended to improve long-term comfort. Xreal promises the pad will improve overall stability without reducing the field of view. Engadget described the update as a minor refresh with welcome quality-of-life improvements, and said the comfort change was the feature it was most excited about because there is a large difference between wearing AR glasses for 20 minutes and using them for two or three hours of work.

Apart from those changes, the One Pro+ remains the same as the One Pro. It uses the X1 spatial computing chip and offers a 57-degree field of view. Engadget said it enjoyed the original One Pro and found it useful for productivity through screen mirroring and for watching content, and that the glasses intrigued it in ways Meta's glasses never did. The One Pro+ does not have a camera, a feature Engadget noted is still absent from the device and which distinguishes it from camera-equipped products such as Meta's glasses.

The One Pro+ is available now and costs $600, the same price as last year's One Pro.
