Yijing X9 Launches From 289,800 Yuan; Jetour Traveler 7 Opens Pre-Sale From 149,900 Yuan

The Yijing X9's extended-range lineup starts with the Max long-range at 289,800 yuan, followed by the four-wheel-drive Ultra at 299,800 yuan, the four-wheel-drive Ultra+ long-range at 329,800 yuan, and the four-wheel-drive Ultra+ flagship long-range at 369,800 yuan. The Ultra uses a 51.46 kWh battery with 280 km of CLTC electric range, while the other three long-range models use a 74.29 kWh battery with 432 km to 465 km of CLTC electric range.

The X9 measures 5,301 mm long, 2,015 mm wide and 1,820 mm tall, with a 3,120 mm wheelbase. It has a closed front end, a 1.83-meter light bar, Huawei XPIXEL pixel projection headlights, a through-type rear light and flat side windows that extend to the third row. Inside, two 17.2-inch screens span the dashboard, and the cabin runs Huawei's latest HarmonySpace 6. The second row has two zero-gravity seats with 14 massage points, a 9-liter dual-direction heating and cooling box is built into the front center console, and the third row reclines up to 133 degrees. With six seats occupied, the trunk holds 484 liters; folding the third row expands it to 1,368 liters.

Huawei technology is central to the X9. All versions carry Huawei Qiankun ADS 5, with either a single-lidar or four-lidar hardware setup. The four-lidar system combines one 896-line dual-path main lidar and three solid-state lidars. The chassis uses a front double-wishbone and rear five-link layout, with Huawei Qiankun's Chitu platform coordinating power output, brake-by-wire, steering response and active suspension. The launch event highlighted a high-speed tire blowout stability function that uses millisecond-level coordination to keep the vehicle on course and slow it safely. Flagship models add dual-chamber air suspension and rear-wheel steering with 7 degrees of steering angle, cutting the minimum turning radius to 5.3 meters.

The cockpit is also heavily Huawei-equipped. The X9 is the industry's first model with HarmonySpace 6, featuring a new-generation Xiaoyi intelligent agent that can understand context and coordinate navigation, vehicle control and entertainment. Huawei phones connect through Super Desktop, letting apps run on the car's screen. The HUAWEI XSCENE laser projection can cast a large screen for rear passengers or extend outside for an outdoor cinema. The AMS cabin multimodal perception system detects actions inside the vehicle: it turns off the projector if a child looks directly at the light source, helps avoid pinch risks when seats move, and lowers audio volume and adjusts air conditioning when a child falls asleep. It also warns about unfastened seat belts or hands out of the window.

Ifanr reported that the X9 targets families who appreciate the AITO M9 but have a budget around 300,000 yuan. On the same day as the launch, Yu Chengdong, at a HarmonyOS Smart Travel store in Hefei, publicly responded to adjustments in the AITO cooperation model. He said Seres had achieved substantial growth through years of deep cooperation and had asked to lead its own business development, and that Huawei fully supported this. In an afternoon Weibo post, Yu said the team would focus on four brands: Zunjie, Xiangjie, Zhijie and Shangjie, to ensure they receive more resources and product polishing. Ifanr noted that the overlap in timing gave Yijing X9 an unexpected market opening.

The new Jetour Traveler 7, a replacement model, retains its boxy profile but switches to a round headlight front face and a slightly longer body. Pre-sale prices for gasoline versions are 149,900 yuan for the 1.5TD Explore+, 159,900 yuan for the 2.0TD XWD Discover, 169,900 yuan for the 2.0TD XWD Cross and 179,900 yuan for the 2.0TD XWD Conquer. C-DM versions are 159,900 yuan for the PRO, 169,900 yuan for the MAX and 179,900 yuan for the MAX+. C-DM stands for Chery Dual Mode, Chery Group's Kunpeng super hybrid system, which combines a hybrid-specific engine, a dedicated transmission and multiple motors.

The Traveler 7 has a round light cluster and horizon light bar, with the JETOUR lettering moved upward. The hood is 5 cm higher, and the front bumper is revised. It gets body-color wheel arches, black mirrors, new wheels, and a two-tone rear-mounted storage box. New colors include sunlight gold, misty green and a high-process highway gray. The vehicle measures 4,827 mm long, 2,006 mm wide and 1,875 mm tall, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase. The cabin has 12-layer cloud seats, front-seat memory, ventilation, heating and SPA massage, plus a queen passenger seat with leg rest. Safety features include an integrated embedded body-on-frame structure, 81% high-strength steel and seven airbags including a front far-side airbag.

The Traveler 7 uses TOUR OS 3.3 AI cockpit across the range, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 chip, 24 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and a 15.6-inch 2.5K central screen. The system integrates the iFlytek Spark AI model. Gasoline versions have the Falcon 500 advanced driver assistance system, using a Horizon Journey 6M chip and an end-to-end model for highway NOA and all-scenario parking assistance.

Gasoline 2.0TD models produce 187 kW and 390 Nm, paired with an 8AT. The XWD automatic intelligent four-wheel-drive system uses a smart torque manager and a rear intelligent limited-slip differential lock; it can send torque to the rear axle in milliseconds and suppress wheel spin without the driver manually switching modes. The 7+X one-touch off-road mode covers standard, sport, economy, snow, mud, sand, rock and an X intelligent mode. The C-DM version uses Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM 7.0 with a 1.5TD hybrid engine and P1, P3 and P4 motors, for a combined 575 kW and 835 Nm. It also has the 7+X off-road mode, an energy center lock and an electro-mechanical dog clutch differential lock. Front and rear dual drive motors keep four-wheel drive engaged even when the battery is low. The battery is a 45.12 kWh CATL pack with 251 km of CLTC electric range and 1,400 km of combined range.
