In April 2026, YouTube Premium's US subscription price went up from $13.99 to $15.99 per month. Fresh reports on Reddit and the ResetEra forum suggest YouTube is preparing to increase subscription prices in several European countries by the end of October 2026.

Reports indicate the change will affect both individual and family plans. Some European users have already received emails detailing higher monthly prices, according to Android Authority. However, the reports are not yet official, and it is unclear if or when the increases will reach the US and other markets.

The potential price hike comes only a few months after the last increase, a move that could affect subscribers across various European countries. Neither YouTube nor its parent company Google has officially confirmed the reported changes.
