Zhiruitong Launches EMA-7132 Mini-ITX Board with Dual PCIe for Medical Imaging
Zhiruitong has launched the EMA-7132, a 170×170mm Mini-ITX board with dual PCIe slots that enables medical imaging systems to run image capture and AI inference in parallel on one board, according to Leiphone.
The design addresses a long-standing conflict in medical imaging devices: computing demand keeps rising while chassis space is hard to increase. PCIe graphics cards are becoming more powerful, and image capture cards remain necessary, but small Mini-ITX motherboards usually provide only one PCIe slot. Users often must choose between installing a graphics card for AI inference or a capture card for image acquisition. EMA-7132 provides two PCIe slots, allowing a capture card and an AI inference graphics card to be deployed and work in parallel. In endoscopic surgery, for example, high-definition images can be captured in real time while intelligent lesion recognition runs at the same time.
The board uses Intel Alder/Raptor Lake-H i5/i7/i9 processors and supports DDR5 memory. Raw images do not need to be uploaded to the cloud; data analysis can be completed on the device, combining low latency with high security and helping protect data privacy.
For display, EMA-7132 offers HDMI 2.0, DP and an internal HDMI header, supporting three independent display outputs for multi-screen medical diagnosis and treatment. For networking, it has four onboard RJ45 2.5GbE ports. Four network ports are relatively rare on a Mini-ITX board and can support multi-channel image transmission, multi-network segment isolation or link redundancy.
The motherboard can be paired with Zhiruitong's CDM-2U01 or CDM-4U01 complete-machine chassis, with matching graphics cards and power supplies adapted for medical equipment, and it meets ESD protection standards. Zhiruitong said the product adapts to high and low temperature differences and complex cooling conditions, with a stable and controllable lifecycle.
The company lists endoscopic surgery systems and mobile medical imaging workstations as application scenarios. In endoscopic surgery systems, high-definition image capture and AI lesion recognition can run simultaneously. In mobile medical imaging workstations, the board can support local AI inference, multi-screen diagnosis and high-speed image transmission. EMA-7132 has now been officially released, and Zhiruitong offers motherboards, complete machines and customized solutions. The company invites medical imaging equipment manufacturers to contact its sales and technical support teams for samples and detailed information.
Zhiruitong focuses on embedded computing modules and industry solutions, covering medical, industrial and edge computing fields. The company said it uses standardized and modular design as its core approach, helping customers shorten development cycles, accelerate product commercialization and continue to advance intelligent upgrades in the industry.
