ZhiShen Technology Showcases 'Real Working Robots' at WRC 2026

ZhiShen Technology unveiled its full-stack robotics lineup at WRC 2026, featuring mass production of over 15,000 robots and applications in security, emergency, and power inspection.

At the booth, five display zones formed a chain of "work capability." The performance stage featured the humanoid robot ZhiShen Yinyi NE01 in a multi-robot synchronized dance with a single-joint peak torque of 180 N·m, and the quadruped robot ZhiShen Gangbeng L2 demonstrated open-rim stair climbing and a 7:1 payload-to-weight ratio. The tabletop zone presented a modular education quadruped and the MATRiX 2.0 open-world simulation training platform, which is now open-source. The ground operation zone showed the ZhiShen Tongchui M1 with the TA01 arm performing VLA-based manipulation while maintaining stable end-effector positioning during continuous body movement. A dedicated area displayed seven application-oriented quadruped robots for bomb disposal, disinfection, power inspection, security patrol, guide dog, and explosion-proof duties, covering public safety, energy, chemical, industrial inspection, medical epidemic prevention, and civil disability assistance. The actuator zone demonstrated IP67 waterproof rating with modules running under one meter of water, and the P85MAX-S actuator delivering 220 N·m peak torque at a weight of 1,010 grams.

ZhiShen said that for a robot to work, it must have strength, environmental adaptability, and intelligence. The P85MAX-S can drive a 90 kg load with a 1 kg-class weight. The L2 carries a 16 kg payload continuously and supports 150 kg static load, with a 756Wh battery for 5.5 hours of operation or 20 km, IP66 protection, a -20°C to 55°C operating range, 40° climbing, 70 cm obstacle clearance, and a top speed of 5 m/s. On the intelligence side, the company uses a dual-core architecture: a "brain" for autonomous navigation and decision-making and a "cerebellum" for motion control. Its ZSD (ZhiShen Drive) model is described as the world's first data-driven end-to-end autonomous navigation large model for robotics, moving from traditional SLAM's fixed-route approach to an end-to-end system similar to autonomous driving. The company also claimed the world's first integrated perception-motion control model enabling wheeled quadruped robots to autonomously climb open-rim stairs by identifying terrain and planning foot placement before contact.

The company's capabilities have been verified in top competitions. It won the IROS 2025 quadruped challenge, took six awards at the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Robot Warrior Challenge including first place in autonomous navigation, and completed a 21-km humanoid half-marathon with zero failures, zero falls, and zero robot swaps. The report said that these results demonstrate the reliability of its motion control and system design.

Mass production remains a key differentiator. ZhiShen said it is the first domestic company to achieve an annual output of over one million self-developed joint actuators. To move from "being able to make" to "being easy to use," it has focused on three barriers: technical stability, scenario completion, and continuous delivery. The company has worked with over 300 ecosystem partners and deployed thousands of quadruped robots in security patrol tasks across property communities, commercial areas, industrial parks, and coastal areas. In emergency response, it has built a product matrix of more than 20 types of emergency quadruped robots and introduced integrated solutions such as "quadruped robot + drone" and "quadruped robot + off-road vehicle." In the power sector, it has delivered over 100 power inspection projects and participated in setting industry standards for quadruped robot inspection. Its robots are also used in mining, forestry, agriculture, water utilities, and railway inspection, with services covering more than 100 cities and regions nationwide.
