CANDYSIGN Launches Max60 60W Charger With AVS Fast Charging for iPhone 18 Pro

The charger arrives as Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max officially support AVS, a next-generation fast-charging technology that allows finer voltage adjustment during charging so devices can receive voltage more closely matched to their needs. CANDYSIGN said it began preparing for AVS a year earlier, writing support into its products and CanOS firmware for testing and adaptation.

The Max60 is designed to pack 60W dynamic output into a candy-sized body. It measures 32 by 32 by 33 millimeters, weighs about 60 grams and has a volume of about 33.8 cubic centimeters, with foldable prongs for storage. CANDYSIGN lists an energy density of about 1.78 W per cubic centimeter. It comes in four colors: mellow red, fresh blue, flash silver and retro white, with matching candy-colored cables for the new iPhone models.

CANDYSIGN describes the Max60 as a dynamic power system that adjusts output by device. When charging a laptop, it can sustain 60W output for 20 minutes, according to the company. When charging a phone, it can sustain 45W output without overheating, the company said. The charger is also positioned for thin and light laptops.

Charging times listed by CANDYSIGN include about 15 minutes to 50% for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, about 20 minutes to 50% for the iPhone Duo, about 30 minutes to 50% for the iPhone Air, about 35 minutes to 50% for various 13-inch iPad Pro models, and about 30 minutes to 50% for a MacBook. Its USB-C port supports PD 3.2, including AVS and PPS, and other mainstream fast-charging protocols, so it can charge phones, tablets and thin laptops.

Inside, the Max60 uses an MCU-type erasable programmable chip, high-frequency GaN components and an integrated potting and heat-dissipation structure. CANDYSIGN says this allows fast and stable power scheduling in a small dynamic output core. The charger can also be updated through the cloud. Connected to the OTW fast-charging assistant, it can unlock additional proprietary fast-charging protocols for AVS, Huawei, Xiaomi, Samsung and some laptops, according to the company.

CANDYSIGN cited lab tests showing that after upgrading, an Honor Magic V5 improved from 22.5W to 51W, and a Huawei Pura 80 improved from 26W to 58W. The company calls the approach SDC, or Software-Defined Charger, which it says it pioneered in 2025. The idea is that a charger's capabilities are not fixed at the factory but can gain new abilities as devices and protocols change.

On safety, CANDYSIGN says the Max60 uses integrated potting to combine heat dissipation and insulation, reducing exposed or loose internal components. Its folding prongs have an insulating sleeve under China's new national standard, and the charger uses flame-retardant materials, smart temperature control and CCC certification. A dynamic power-reduction mechanism is designed to control temperature during prolonged high-power use.
